I started in 1995 a research on the diagrams of the Elements of Euclid in the manuscripts.
This work relates to the layout of the geometrical figure, its materiality, it is that of an artist, a copyist and of a photographer.
The motivation of this work is felt emotion by recognising the same geometric «face» in Greek, Arab, Persian, Hebrew or Latin manuscripts.
Fiction: I am a neoplatonist copyist who tries to establish an Edition of the “harmonious” diagrams of the Elements of Euclid.
Reality: While introducing me as such I contacted the different Libraries of Europe, which mostly answered me favourably.
